Installable, fast, mobile-first applications for customers and staff — without the cost and delay of maintaining two separate native codebases.
Overview
Abroadly Tech builds mobile applications from Sharjah, UAE for businesses in the Emirates and worldwide — customer-facing apps, staff and field tools, and the backend systems behind them. The first conversation is never about screens; it is about which tasks genuinely belong on a phone, because that list decides everything else.
The second decision is the route. For most business requirements — ordering, booking, portals, field work — a progressive web app delivers the installable, full-screen experience users expect, from one codebase, with updates that reach everyone instantly. Where a requirement truly needs native capability, we say so plainly before anything is built. Our PWA-or-native guide walks through that decision honestly.
Either way, the app is the visible half. Accounts, data, push notifications, payments and offline sync all live in the backend and API — which we design as part of the same project, or connect to the systems you already run.
What we build
Installable to the home screen, launched full-screen, updated instantly — with no app store review between you and a fix.
Ordering, booking, account access and notifications, designed for someone using one thumb on a busy street.
Tools for people working away from a desk: job lists, checklists, photo capture and status updates.
Mobile access to the systems your team already uses, built for the tasks that genuinely need to happen on a phone.
Where the work happens in a warehouse or basement, key screens can keep working and sync when the connection returns.
Mobile front-ends that talk to your existing systems, so there is one set of data rather than two.
Key capabilities
How we can help
We work out which tasks genuinely belong on a phone. That is usually a much shorter list than the initial one, and it makes the app better.
For most business requirements a PWA delivers the same result faster and cheaper. Where a requirement genuinely needs native capability, we tell you plainly.
Tested on mid-range devices and slower connections, because that is what most of your users are actually holding.
In more depth
Where the real engineering lives: user accounts, data, business rules and the API the app talks to — built for the project or connected to your existing systems.
Sign-up, sign-in and session handling that are both secure and painless on a small screen — the first experience every user has with the app.
Push-style notifications for the events that matter, within what each platform supports — used sparingly, because notification fatigue is how apps get deleted.
Camera capture, location, offline storage — used where the workflow genuinely needs them, with the iOS and Android differences stated up front.
If the store route is chosen, we handle submission requirements and review cycles with your developer accounts. A PWA skips review entirely — one of the honest trade-offs we walk through.
Tested on mid-range phones and slow connections, because that is what most users are actually holding — not the latest flagship on office Wi-Fi.
An honest comparison
We recommend the route that fits the requirement — and we put the reasons in writing, so the decision is yours with the trade-offs visible.
Scope, timeline & cost
PWA, store app, or both — the single biggest scope decision, made first.
Connecting to an existing API is one project; designing accounts, data and rules from zero is another.
Not the count, but the depth — a browse-and-order flow is simpler than a multi-role field workflow with approvals.
If key screens must work in a warehouse or basement and sync later, the data layer is designed differently from day one.
Each adds provider setup, platform rules and testing across both operating systems.
Connections to your CRM, POS or internal systems are scoped against what those systems expose.
FAQ
A progressive web app is an application that runs in the browser but installs to the home screen and opens full-screen like a normal app. There is no app store submission, and updates reach every user immediately.
A PWA installs directly from your website rather than through the stores. If store listing is a requirement for your business, tell us early — it changes the approach and the cost.
When it depends on deep hardware or platform features — background location tracking, Bluetooth peripherals, heavy on-device processing, or specific store-only integrations. For ordering, booking, portals and staff tools, a PWA is usually the better decision.
Yes. One build serves both. Some platform features differ between iOS and Android, and we are specific about those differences before the build starts.
Mostly the backend. The screens are the visible half; accounts, data, notifications and integrations behind them are where the engineering time goes. An app over an existing API is a much shorter project than one that needs its backend built too.
Yes, through established payment providers, where that is part of the agreed scope. Payment flows also affect the PWA-versus-store decision — store platforms have their own rules about in-app payments — so we settle it early.
Yes. Strategy calls, staged builds and releases all run remotely — we develop from Sharjah, UAE for clients worldwide.
