Some businesses run on a process no product was built for. We build the missing system — the one your team stops working around.
Overview
Abroadly Tech is a custom software development company based in Sharjah, UAE, building operational systems for businesses in the Emirates and remotely worldwide. The starting point is always the same: a process that already runs the company — quotations, approvals, scheduling, records — currently held together by spreadsheets, chat threads and one person's memory.
Custom software replaces that with a system: one place where the data lives, the rules are enforced, the history is kept and the reporting is real. Most of what we build is delivered through the browser — the engineering behind that is covered under web application development — but this service is about the part that matters first: understanding the workflow well enough that the software fits it.
It is also a decision with a genuine alternative. Buying an existing product is often the right answer, and we say so when it is — our build-vs-buy guide sets out how we weigh it.
What we build
Build a quote from your own pricing rules, send it as a branded document, and track whether it was accepted.
Availability, appointments, resources and staff calendars — with the constraints your business actually has.
Requests that route to the right person, get approved or rejected with a reason, and leave a record of who decided what.
Secure logged-in areas where people handle their own requests, documents and status instead of emailing your office.
Structured storage with versions, expiry dates, permissions and search — for contracts, certificates or compliance records.
The system that replaces four spreadsheets, a shared drive and a WhatsApp group with one place that everyone trusts.
Key capabilities
How we can help
We sit with the people who do the work and document what actually happens, including the exceptions. That is usually where the real requirement is.
We tell you which parts are worth building and which are better solved with a tool you can buy. A smaller system that ships beats a large one that stalls.
The most valuable part goes live first. You use it, we learn from that, and the next stage is better for it.
In more depth
The steps your team repeats — routing, notifying, generating documents, updating statuses — happen in the system, on rules you defined, instead of depending on somebody remembering.
Requests go to the right person, decisions carry a reason, and every change is recorded with who and when. Six months later, the answer to "why was this approved?" exists.
The numbers management actually asks for, produced by the system as a by-product of the work — not assembled manually every month-end.
The system connects to the tools you keep — accounting, email, your website — where those tools expose an API or a supported export. Verified before it enters scope.
Your data sits in a structured database you own, exportable at any time. No vendor lock-in, no ransom at renewal, no system you cannot leave.
The first release solves the most painful part of the process. Each stage after that is built on what the previous one taught us — smaller risk, faster value.
An honest comparison
We recommend buying when buying is right. A custom system that should have been an off-the-shelf subscription is a failure we would have to maintain.
Scope, timeline & cost
The happy path is rarely the hard part. The exceptions — the "unless", the "except when the manager says" — are where the real scope lives.
Every distinct role adds screens, permissions and rules about who may see and change what.
Each connected system is scoped against what it actually exposes — a clean API and a nightly CSV export are very different efforts.
Migrating years of spreadsheet history is real work: mapping, cleaning and verifying before the new system can be trusted.
Operational reports come with the system; bespoke management dashboards and exports are scoped per requirement.
A system used by three office staff rolls out in a day. One used across branches and shifts needs staged rollout and real handover.
FAQ
The clearest signal is people working around their tools — exporting to a spreadsheet to finish a job, or keeping a second private record because the system does not fit. If a product does most of what you need, buying it is the better decision and we will say so.
In most cases yes, where the other system offers an API or a supported import and export path. We confirm this before it becomes a commitment.
You do. It is your system, running on infrastructure you control, with no per-user subscription to us.
We agree a support arrangement that fits — from occasional changes to ongoing development as the business grows.
That is how we prefer to work. The most painful part of the process goes live first as a working system, the team uses it, and the next stage is scoped from what reality taught us — not from a document written before anyone had touched it.
It will, and the system is built expecting it. Because you own the code and the data, changes are development work, not a feature request to a vendor who may never prioritise it.
Yes. We are based in Sharjah and deliver remotely worldwide — process mapping, staged builds and handover all work over calls and screen shares, and many clients prefer it that way.
